Applications for permits can be turned into the Sheriff Office Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm no cost.

  2. Complete the Application and Mental Health Form, print it and have it notarized. CONCELAED CARRY PERMIT APPLICATION and MENTAL HEALTH FORM REQUIRE A NOTARY
  3. Scan/Save the notarized copy on your computer and return to this page. System enables ability to upload Notarized CCW Application, Notarized Mental Health Form, Valid NC Drivers License or State ID, Proof of Residency, and Completed Certificate of Handgun Safety. You will still need to bring original Handgun Safety Certificate to the department.
